                        My English Teacher

Miss Chan is our class teacher.  She teaches us English.  She always helps us when we are in need.  She wants her students to grow up confidently too.  When she was in primary four, she met her favourite teacher, Miss Lam.  Miss Lam was a very kind teacher.  She always helped her students. 

Miss Chan has many hobbies.  She likes going to the country parks at weekends.  She goes there to have a picnic, go cycling and look at the flowers and birds.  She sometimes goes hiking with her friends too.  She likes cycling with her family because it helps them to keep fit.  Both cycling and hiking can help her to keep fit and stay healthy.  She likes looking at the beautiful and colourful flowers in the country park.  The birds always sing happily there.

Miss Chan went to Seoul with her friends three years ago. They went to famous temples and old palaces to take photos. They also visited the historical buildings there. They tried on traditional costumes too.  They wanted to learn more about Korean culture after the trip.  Seoul is famous for shopping especially the beautiful cosmetic items.  Miss Chan and her friends seldom go shopping in Hong Kong, but they bought a lot in Seoul.  These interesting things in Seoul make the place become very attractive to the tourists to come and visit.

Miss Chan shares some learning tips with us.  These tips can help us to improve our English.  First, we can read more English books to develop our imaginations and understand more about our world. Our imaginations can help us to write interesting stories.  Moreover, listening to English songs can help us improve our listening skills.  We can get better results in the listening exams.  Listening to songs can also relax ourselves after studying hard.  Finally, watching English videos and playing games with flashcards can help us to learn more new vocabulary.

I think Miss Chan is nice and helpful because she helps us with the homework.  I also think she is funny because she always tells us funny and silly jokes.  I’m very happy that Miss Chan is my English teacher.
