My Dream Job

Everyone has a dream job. Some people want to be a doctor or a pilot. For many people, my dream job is interesting. The most important mission of my dream job is to cheer people up. What is it? It is a pastry chef.

Desserts have been a beloved part of my life since I was a kid. Whenever I feel miserable, I will eat an appealing and yummy dessert to make myself happy. I think that is what many people will do when they are moody as well.

I think I am suitable for being a pastry chef because I am creative and artistic. I always get high marks in Visual Arts so I think I am able to make a lot of fantastic desserts. Besides, I am persistent and patient. If I fail to achieve my goal, I will never give up. I will keep finding ways to improve my products until my customers are satisfied. Moreover, I am an organized person. Hence, I can explain the procedures of making desserts clearly to my helpers. 

The duties of a pastry chef seem easy but it is hard to get them done nicely. Firstly, I need to design different recipes. Variety of products offer more choices to customers. Secondly, I need to execute the baking and cooking process efficiently. I must grasp the cook time precisely in order not to get the pastries overdone. Finally, I have to present the pastries in a visually appealing way in order to attract customers. I am suitable for these duties because my passion motivates me to work.

In order to be a pastry chef, I will need to meet some requirements. I need to study hard to obtain an undergraduate degree in baking and pastry. Also, I will read more recipes and prastice making desserts more frequently. After finishing the degree course, I must have proven experiences in pastry making and learn the leadership skill so as to supervise my team in the future. Although the salary of a pastry chef is not high, I won't care about it. I will be pleased if my passionate belief is appreciated by my admirers.

 My favourite working places are hotels or my own bakery shops where can meet a lot of people. I really want to cheer my customers up. If I can do so, I will be gleeful too. To strive for my goal, I will study hard to prepare for my dream job.
